A dark creature…

Image via Wikipedia

The creature stared,

narrowed eyed,

nostrils flared,

the hunter made a fist,

the creature grabbed his wrist,

eyes glittering in the moonlight,

powerful shoulders,

face dark as night,

the creature’s voice

was little more than a growl,

the hunter had no choice,

but to submit,

the hunter was pinned,

as the creature stalked his ghost

like an animal seeking its prey,

nothing left for the hunter to say,

his life,

was a sacrifice,

caught in the grip

of unexpected anger,

blood would drip,

and drip,

and drip…

The hunter turned into the hunted! The anticipation of death drip by drip…..graphic and painfully slow. Great read!
