The hymns of Fanny Crosby are very encouraging. If she could be so happy and so greatly used of God, blind, then we are without excuse, who have no physical limitations!!

Crosby’s Wells
Well, some may know the story,
And some other people don’t.
“To weep and sigh, because I’m blind,
I cannot, and I won’t.”
I heard a preacher the other day
With this description tell,
Of how this little lady dug
More than eight thousand wells!
Like these so known and loved,
They’re just two example fine,
Wrote these hymns,”I Am Thine, Lord”
“Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine”!
Are you wondering if the Lord
Will really meet your every need.
Then maybe this is the one for you,
“All the Way my Saviour Leads!”
“Pass Me Not, Oh, Gentle Saviour”,
Saviour, do not pass me by.
“Near the Cross”, and “Draw Me Nearer”
Keep me ever there nearby!
“Safe [with]In the Arms of Jesus,
Jesus, Tenderly Calling Thee Home.
What a thought, here or in Heaven,
To His loving arms may come!
“Praise Him, Praise Him” “More than Life”
And then go “Rescue the Perishing” souls.
Tell [them all] the Story of Jesus”
More than life, Who made thee whole!
“Redeemed, [and loving to proclaim]“
The Saviour’s Name to tell,
“First of All,” “To God the Glory,”
Just a few of Crosby’s wells!
