crowded street

i stand there

hoping to see you hold me

amongst the strangers

who pierce my heart.

Priyanka, i absolutely love this poem. your usage of refined and selected words capture the whole meaning of the poem. after reading this very thoughtfully, i can see what you are seeing and i really can appreciate the depth of the words and their meaning. i love all your works and it’s your writing style that attracts me to want to read more and more.
