This world can often seem so cruel and angry.
I would of liked to have protected you
you naive, young and innocent girl
I would of liked to have sheltered you
from the cruel and angry world
if only I could have made you avoid
being tormented, tortured and destroyed
and have kept you far away
from that cold and evil boy
