What I feel about school.

BANG! My books hit the desk.

I wish I could leave such a boring place.

All this work, and for what?

A better future? To work under some corporation? To fill someone else’s pocket with cash?

I don’t need this. I don’t want to be here. Send me home.

I know more about life than you ever will.

So don’t try to tell me anything.

These assignments, just taking up my valuable time.

It’s like watching paint dry, boring, useless and without purpose.

School is a monster that rips the true potential of students from them and turns them into slaves.

Mindless, money making, money spending, monotonous, slaves.

But what can you do?

Society demands school as a ‘’necessity’’

So just wait to spread your wings and fly away.

AGREE COMPLETELY! school is just a metaphor for what society really is. being put into a small box, told, how to think, what to think, whats right and wrong, how to judge people, how to never question authority…so on a so forth…

I agree with you too. I see the life of my children being sucked right out of them. Well said!
