This poem is about excruciating pain, and what it does to the soul. There’s still light @ the end of the tunnel, there is always hope.

Disappointment deals a crushing blow

Pain murders a bit of the soul

When love is mocked and trampled,

It leaves a heart darkened and cold

There’s an old saying that sums it up well

That explains how a gentle heart

Can become hardened as hell

“Anger is just Love disappointed”

What is needed is a healing touch, it’s that simple

Call upon the Lord!

I can relate to people who have suffered extreme loneliness and heartbreak, I have been there.

It’s a place where they feel their soul’s been crushed beyond repair

You need a healing touch? Just say a prayer

Anger is just love disappointed…so well said and true. I had to stop and park my mind there. YES, the Lord is the one to call. Touching and poignant poetry! I know you as a defender of the faith. An artist and scriptwriter. Now I see you are one of God’s gifted poets. To God be the glory! No limits…

I can almost feel it in the words.
