The Rose sits in darkness. She is crying.
The world is full of darkness and the land is full of hate. She is all alone, crying!
Time itself has stopped still and she wishes she was dead.
A rose among the thorns, she is crying!
She cannot find the light! She cannot save herself! She is DEAD!
The rose has given up on hope; she has given up on love! She can no longer see the light!
She is a rose; a red rose, a blood rose; a black rose, a dead rose.
Among the thorns she withers. Life means nothing to her.
What is life? But an endless drudgery of darkness.
Who will save this rose from the dark? Who will bring her light?
The evil around her is endless; sin lies heavily upon her shoulders.
Who will bring this rose to life?
There is an angel. I see Him! He squanders the dark; it flees before Him.
This Angel, full of Life! Full of Light! Oh such Hope and Courage He brings.
The rose looks up to Him; her face a myriad of emotions.
What are her thoughts? What is she thinking of?
Crystal tears upon her cheeks, the Angel wipes them away.
Protection He brings; Strength and Comfort.
The rose is still withering; still dead! Will she accept Him? Will she come to life?
The Angel holds out his hand, offering Peace! Offering Love!
Will she take His hand? Will she accept Him? Will she leave the dark forever?
I cannot see!
I was like her once. I was a Crying Rose. Crystal tears falling down my face. I used to be in the dark. A withering rose among the thorns. A red rose, a blood rose; a black rose, a dead rose. I did not believe in hope, I did not believe in love. I was all alone!
I was once DEAD!
But I saw the Angel, In the middle of my darkness. He was full of Life! Full of Light!
He wiped away my crystal tears, offered me Peace! Offered me Love!
And I accepted!
I no longer fear the dark! I no longer sense Evil!
I believe in Hope! I Believe in Love!
I am no longer Dead!
I AM ALIVE!!
