When it’s not real love, it’s very painful at the end.

Teardrops like crystal fall to the page
Splashing and crashing all over the place
Can’t help but let them fall
Staring at the blank white wall

Wish I was brave enough to do it
Words so cruel; feel like I’ve been hit
I used to wonder what forever meant
It’s just til someone’s had their fill and is content

Teardrops like crystal fall to the page
Splashing and crashing all over the place
Wondering what happened to you and I
Watching the stars in the vast black sky

I want to think I’m not naive
Too bad for me I wear my heart on my sleeve
Never afraid to show how I feel
Now I wonder how long it’ll take to heal

Teardrops like crystal fall to the page
Splashing and crashing all over the place
Bottling it up inside never tends to work
But those feelings; they always seemed to lurk

Can’t seem to express how I truly feel
It’s right there at the edge; instead I learn to deal
Sometimes I wish my tears would turn to rage
And maybe I can break out of this fu*#$ng emotional cage
