We were in Burbank, CA and stopped in at a Cupcake store. This store should be outlawed.

There is a small shop in middle of town,

That will turn any frown upside down.

The delights within are worthy of sin,

Which flavor to start, where to begin?

The hostess is smiles from ear to ear,

She describes each creation and waits to hear.

What is your pleasure, what is your delight?

For whatever you choose, it’s smile on first bite.

To pick just one is a heavy task,

But in its flavor you’re sure to bask.

Tomorrow you’ll return and try another take,

For these are the countries very best cupcakes.

Now I’m really drooling. :-) Descriptive and wonderful. I remember being in Manhattan years ago, walking down the street looking for a place to have dinner. I found a small truffle shop … and was drawn to it like a magnet on a refrigerator door. I ate dinner there. :-)

Hey Gang! Anyone in the Burbank area should visit Cupcakes & Co: ask for Mary Anne. She was just filmed for an episode of Cupcake Wars to appear on the Food Network. Her phone is 818-843-2340

    Hello Clay,

Yet another great poem. It’s written very well, probably too well as it’s making me very hungry.

    Thanks and see you around,
