Describing inner turmoil and emotions.

He sits and watches helplessly
As the tornado of emotions within his head and heart
Rip apart the strong foundation in which his happiness once resided
Watch the buildings fall and crumble
Listen to the deafening cracking of the ground beneath his feet
The cries ring out personified by hopelessness
As all that was once peaceful and stable comes crashing down
As each piece falls around him
He notices that a new landscape is forming from the rubble
A split across the horizon shows a new sky opening through the smoke
As the tornado rages on and swirls without mercy
All that was once strong and stable
Suddenly finds itself being ripped up
Tossed like confetti over a black parade
The cyclone grows in strength
Fueled by anger, and frustration
A desperate sense of hopelessness
Swirled together with clouds of irritation and self-seclusion
He lays his face in his hands
Sitting alone he tries to exhale and let go
As the pressure in his head
Fueled by the pounding in his chest
Grow with each passing second like helium into that of a birthday balloon
Yet, like the balloon
He can only hold so much in before the pressure becomes too much to contain
He wants to call out and run for cover
How hard it must’ve hit him to realize his condition
For no one is around to hear his cries
And there’s no cover for him to find
All of whom he once looked to for support
Blown and tossed away
His shelters and everything around them
Reduced to rubble and shattered to pieces
But as the dust starts to settle
He sees something new in the distance
Just past the chaos, a new life waiting to be lived and enjoyed
