Poem.

I want to be the Salvador Dali of Poetry

I want to write a picture that can’t be framed because the puzzling, shifting letters will shock

crass, invade and ask, mock and reveal they can’t be contained.

With each brush stroke of my pen the colored letters splatter onto the binded canvas again and again

Rearranging, changing, making points, saying nothing; bringing, singing, laughter, pain, darkness, rain,

wisdom gain.

No signature to denote the portrait i wrote but feel each stroke as the pencil broke.  Feel each line, quotes,

and phrases amazes even me as i empty my pen and the ink seeks to suspend.

Wow! Great work. I do love Salvador Dali. Don’t know much of him as a person but know his work. “Each brush stoke of my pen” very nice! I know what you mean, I think, I started as an artist before writing. Then I played a bit of piano. When we meditate as we write we can almost feel the pen dance. Then there is music as the pen moves. Then drawing. You say painting, I have never thought that far. Oops I forgot, poetry can mean what we want it too.

Salvador Dali- a master of art as you are becoming a master of writing. A very nice comparison. Excellent.

I would settle fro a pet aardvark I could walk around NYC.

This is my fav line from this piece. Being a fan like you of word pictures. This puts it very succinctly.

“I want to write a picture that can’t be framed”

    Kudos muchacho!
