A poem about a little one who is affected by his dads snoring.

My daddy snores all the time.

My daddy has gone over the line.

It drives my mummy nuts,

not to mansion me in the night my mummy tuts.

I hear my daddy in the dead of night,

sometimes it gives me a fright.

It comes through the walls,

and wakes me up.

I wish he would stop.

My mummy has bought him some strange things.

The full job lot.

From sprays to sticky things.

Some funny things with wings.

Across his nose they all go.

They don’t work you know.

Nothing keeps the volume low.

I hear mummy say I am going to smother you one day,

I don’t like the sound of that there’s got to be another way.

I don’t think daddy was impressed,

I know he tries his best so mummy and I can get a good nights rest.

Mummy and daddy talk about tests,

maybe this is for the best.

I don’t understand all the rest.

Mummy said it’s the last resort,

I think daddy being a good sport.

Mummy said it’s for her own piece of mind.

I think it’s about time,

then maybe daddy can get back over the line.
