For my Daddy.
Daddy’s Home
You could never tuck me in at night;
But I knew everything would be alright;
At work in the afternoon and home in the sunrise;
Daddy’s home; he’s driving across the morning skies;
Goodbye; is never a sorrow leave-taking;
Daddy’s home; 6am is a glorious awakening;
‘Cause God has you protected;
‘Cause God has us disinfected;
Five daughters and one like-son;
When daddy’s home; the work is done;
Daddy’s wife; mummy, we love her so;
Our guilt commences to watch him go;
My busy daddy; I see each day;
My busy daddy; I love in every way!
Daddy’s home; so we are safe from harm;
Daddy’s home; no cause; no alarm;
