This poem is about a fox I once knew. That fox was so kind to me then I never saw it again.
Willows Weep
and Foxes sleep
while down down deep
Im yours to keep
But everyday
While Im awake
The fox still sleeps
And again I wait
And every night
while im awake
the fox runs wild
Its hard to take
But im strong
and Im bold
and im yours to keep
but not yours to hold
So watch me wake
while the fox still sleeps
And turn the leaf
with the warmth it keeps
Im on my way
To holding my own
breaking the mould
and turning old
This is who I will never be
The way I am now
The way I used to be
Is what I wish I was now
Willows Weep
and foxes sleep
Im yours down deep
But not yours to keep
