This is a powerful poem about betrayal of love.
A million daggers dance in my head,
A loving lullaby plays down to the dead,
Sing a sweet song to me and let me know I breath,
For in my mind I see nothing but me as I bleed,
You say I am alive,
Well so you say,
But the tricks you’ve played,
They still remind me that you are not trustworthy,
The empty promises of aid you swore,
Play like a broken record,
You hypocrite,
Don’t you preach to me damn you,
Banish me if you can,
So I can die again,
No I live to feel all you strike into me,
Dance for me once,
So I can sing til I bleed,
Kiss me once,
So you may release the dagger from my heart,
Push me once,
So I may fall into a death trap you placed,
Cut me once,
So I can feel pain,
Cut me again,
So you can laugh at me,
Cut me again,
So I can cry for you,
Stab me again,
So I can take you to hell with me.
