Drawn by the warmth, near the fiery blades,

Of blistering flame consuming the logs

Two lovers danced, amidst the flickering light

Unmindful of the world, hidden from their sight

The chilling breeze tried, with all its might

To engulf the bodies, in conjugal bliss,

But then, it too in utter futility

Failed to disrupt their frenzied embrace..

Love was all, and love was felt..

Poured out for each other as they undulate,

Following the rhythm of surging heartbeats

As both in sweetness, gaped for breath

In shrill voices they exchanged their vows

Of love and fidelity invoking the Divine,

Feeling each other in gentle crescendo,

They danced the music, sang in their hearts

Then, as the moon peered into the cabin

A silhouette revealed an art most perfect

Love itself in its rare purity!

Bathed by the light, as they laid by the fire.
