Ever wonder where dreams come from and why?
Dancing Dreamers
18 Feb 09
Out camping with his buddies
They told tall tales under the full moon
It was late after midnight
That they finally fell asleep under that moon
He dreamed of a naked lady
Dancing under that full moon
He tossed and turned till he woke up
Finding himself staring right into that moon
He sat bolt upright
He could still hear that same music
His buddies still very fast asleep
He left them to follow the music
The red haired young woman
Danced naked to a flute played melody
He hid behind the rocks
As he lustily admired her body
She was like something magical
Turning, twirling, tumbling and dancing
He felt himself so drawn to her
That soon he also was naked and dancing
She showed no surprise
When he joined with her
They moved together so easily
He felt he was becoming one with her
As they danced under the moonlight
She spoke to him like singing a song
I danced for the moon
Calling out for a dreamer with my song
Only a dreamer could follow the music
You may think I have captured you
But that can never be so
Dreams will guide us and make us true
Day after day they danced with each other
Their freedom enslaved their souls
Life had its toils, troubles and disappointments
Yet their children praise the deepness of their souls
