A boy and his mom.

Why do ladies have dangles?
The question was perplexing
She looked down at her son
His eyes curious from asking

What do you mean by dangles?
The timid boy pointed at her ears
She smiled brightly at him
Earrings help us look pretty my dear

The boys face squinched
The puzzlement was so kooky
Then with big innocent face
Bu mother, you’re already pretty!
