A poem about the fictional world of Volcania.
Great mountains loom,
Under skies clouded gray,
No warmth be consumed,
Without light of day.
Volcania’s Darkside,
May always shine,
With stars in its,
Southeastern corner so fine.
Because of the birth,
Of an angel so fair,
And her halo of flame,
High above golden hair.
She brings to this place,
A myriad of light,
And from darkness awakens,
A fire ever bright.
Without darkness the stars,
Cannot shine up above.
But they also depend,
On the light of her love.
So you see, without darkness,
What good is the light?
And without the light’s brilliance,
What good, is the darkness of night?
They walk hand in hand,
Like the shadows of dreams,
In this world of Delusions,
A world of grand schemes.
And upon one another,
They’ll always depend.
From flames to black ash,
May they both, never end.
