Darkness My Valentine

As the night grows long

And the feeling of loosing you

Tears at me inside

I find myself lying down 

For the tears I just cant hide

The tears they are many

And sometimes I cannot see 

But the darkness of my lonely room

Always takes care of me

Here within this darkness

Beneath this Vail of tears

I find myself not needing love 

For love becomes my fears

For now you see I fear your love

Because of what I’ve done

I’ve never had much of it

So a rock I have become

I do not have a heart of stone 

But its better for me in time 

That darkness be my only friend

And my Valentine
