Poem about a very beautiful young woman of Peru…

Give thanks to your forefathers, and to the line of your women folk,

for the beauty of her daughters, was painted by a heavenly stroke…

Passed on through time, through a charming mountain hind,

in the season of the roar, and the fruitage it did bore…

Oh you queen of hearts, a sumpteous feast for the eyes,

men can only gasp, in their minds are their desires…

How can evolutionist believe, such beauty came from the ape,

I find it easier to conceive, of a creator from a higher state…

Of eyes that are bright, lips so soft and round,

such a luxurious sight, men fall to their kness on the ground…

You daughter of Peru, your beauty has touched the skies,

when the sun shines on you, even the angels give a sigh…

Smile you Peruvian cutie, how our hearts do sing,

for the beauty you bring, will pass on into eternity……..end

This poem is much like the style of Pablo Naruda. Well written. A fabulous piece and a joy to read! I wish you good fortune in your future writing!
