Give back to God the talents He gives you, put him first in your life, and let Him use you!

Wordsworth was a poet great,

But he met the common fate

Of all natural men.

David was a man of God,

Walked with Lord as earth he trod,

Gave to God his pen!

Wordsworth, what a poet name!

Many lines live, from his pen came,

But he was not God’s king.

Wordsworth gained a name on earth,

However high had been his birth,

Could not tie David’s strings!

Wordsworth wrote of nature first,

THEN his talent forth did burst,

With words of God he’d use.

David, with another goal,

Put nature’s God FIRST in his soul,

A man that God would choose!

Wordsworth, surely a man of art,

In fond literature found a part,

That men may read today.

David, found in the sacred pages,

Served the God of all the ages,

Knew how to worship and pray!
