Awake at dawn and reflecting on the promise of another day ahead.

The sun is slowly waking up
Inviting me to spend my day
In splendid silence
With warmth and light
To help me on my way

A bird with boldness sings to me
Exhorting me to spend my day
In interaction
With a sense of freedom
In all I do and say

The moon prepares to leave my sky
Reminding me to spend my day
With expectation
And the reassurance
That I’m here to stay

I haven’t been to London since the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, but I took a sunrise stroll in Hyde Park that I will never forget; thanks for bringing that back to the surface.
