Keeps me on the straight and narrow
Being by your side
Will cause me no more sorrow
My love for you
Is greater than you will ever know
I will spend my time
Thinking of ways to show
How much you mean to me

You are like the cure-all medicine
You take my pain away
I am writing you this poem
Because this is just one of the ways
I will show you I love you
