Winters gone, the sun is here!

From behind the clouds it does appear.

In the early morning when your still asleep,

round your curtains it does peek!

But you dont mind, you dont care,

cos now you know its nice out there.

But you have to go to work,

from the day you can not shirk.

But maybe just this once you know,

you could tell the boss you just cant go.

To sit encased around your desk,

does he not know you need to rest!

And a day in the sun would be the best.

To send away those winter blues,

and refresh yourself with summer hue’s.

So off you go, towel in hand,

and lay yourself on the sand.

Its peace, its bliss,

a day like this you should not miss.

But then a noise,

oh no your phone!

“Just ignore it”, to yourself you moan.

But then a text,

guess what it said?

Its your boss,

he’s gonna call your house instead!
