Tired of the same old love writings and lack of my own imagination to wonder if what I have thought has been done by someone else.

Do you ever what else you could say

When you know the words are there

And the overwhelming sensation of

Being with her takes over

And you want this to be so special

So you call out your feelings, but

Every word sounds cliché, every

Word already said

Its never quite enough is it? Sure

She will be so happy to hear all

That you have to say, but the

Satisfaction of coming up with

A new way to tell her stays dry.

You can repeat everything you

Like about her, go down the

Lists and know next time that

Is all you will have to say

We are waiting on more then

Sitcom serenades, beautiful

Ballads of rock stars who

Cannot keep a commitment

Down, the words of William

Shakespeare and love stories

Told in dramatic big screen

Motion.

The red rose and blue violets

Are no longer good enough,

To compare your love to

That of something great is

Old news, songs starting with

Her name have been done before,

From Sweet Caroline down to

Sweet Loraine I am seeing no

Change in those simple phrases

Used.

What is a man to do when his

Words are no longer good enough,

When prime time television has

Stolen every idea of romance, in

Our boxed chocolate attempt to

Write something beautiful our

Words have been already used

By someone else and no matter

How hard we try the theme is

Not our creation.

And I tried to write you something

Beautiful something new, and the

Thought is what counts right? Or

Is that another mans words that

Just sound so right? In every

Attempt I wanted to give you

Something new and so I can

Feed you the day to day cliché,

But know there is so much more

Behind it.
