Poem.
Like a noble dragon I use to soar the skies
Like a wild stallion I use to run free, maine slashing the wind, and hoves pounding the earth;
however, now like a princess I am trap in the tower staring down at the world for an hour.
A river of tears dripping from my eyes like a never-ending tide.
My heart heave with dispair
My lungs heaving for some air.
Here I wait for freedom.
I wait by the window staring out at the countryside wondering when will I have my time to fly?
these wings of mine damaged and torn
these eyes of mine tired and heavy
this body dreadful and weak.
Like a princess trapped in the tower I weep waiting for someone to rescue me from this tragedy.
I yearn for a new day
I long for adventure
I desire new faith!
