Oh come on, it’s four thirty in the morning!

So I’m wired for sound at an ungodly hour,

my brain is running on solar power.

I’m in bed  as normal when the sun goes down…

except for one thing…six thirty hasn’t even come around!

So what does that mean to the sleep cells of mine?

They are wide awake six hours later . doing double time!

Great idea, whose ever it was,

turning back the clock has been a blessing to us.

Now instead of lights to get in to work,

I have to use a flashlight in the yard so I wont get hurt!

I bet back in the day when TV wasn’t around,

this extra  bed time was a handy thing to have found.

Little more hay time to create some more broods

but I’m telling you now, this thing has got me in a bad mood!

I know what you mean, Paul. I don’t know why we persevere with daylight savings. I can’t see that it does a lot of good. I love the poem.
