Don’t hold back.

Life’s endless meanderings criss-cross

With no reins to hold back

Unseen far-flung shore beckon me

Amidst sand-castles split wide open

Waves upon waves cross o’er

Into ocean reams manifold

Mindless clouds drift above uneasy

Drawing patterns bleak’n'grey

Friend-Ships drift apart in silence

Casting Anchor on the Dead Sea

As Ghost-Ships loom into view

I try chasing auras in blue.

Great poem. I love the way you convey emotion through the metaphor of a ship on the raging waters. Thanks again for reading some of my poetry.

Water can be returned to the dead seas. The ships can live again.
