I am, and always will be, me. No matter what goes on in society, in the surroundings by me, or in nature, I always will remain me. I am me. That’s the only thing I can truly be.

finally
the snow is melting
but the air outside
is still a bit chilly
but I can deal with it,
with those mid-40 (F) temps
can I really
deal with things
nipping at my toes,
tugging at my fingers,
harrassing my feelings,
just because I am
stepping outside
to no longer feel caged
like an animal
thrown out of social gatherings
snow is melting
many things are changing
but I remain me
so deal with it
