A poem of love.
Dear You,
I want to love you, but you make it so difficult.
My heart and soul want to sing, but you just don’t let it.
Who are you? Slayer of love….hater of bliss.
Why do you make me yearn? Why do you make me anguish?
This isn’t right. I love you and can’t stop loving you.
You make me pitiful and yet I keep longing.
Saying the words “I love you” isn’t enough to express what I feel.
Maybe what I feel isn’t love, but whatever it is it makes me become totally and unequivocally obsessed with you.
Who are you? Slayer of love….hater of bliss.
This is not right. I don’t want you near me, but will feel deeply pained if you leave.
I yearn for you and wish every part of you to be embraced with me.
You make me feel the wholeness that I have longed for.
Be with me…please…be with me.
I love you, but despise the hold you have of me.
Who are you?
Sincerely,
Me
