Today my aunt passed away about whom I wrote my poem the last journey. A tribute to this pious woman.

The soul part of vast sky

remain is perishable body, why?

To remind the kiths and kins the memories

which once was cherished as living family stories.

Now she lies without soul

Her story a unwashable past on the floor

Left people crying in unbearable pain

in her mortal loss left shades

not of money and property of value fade

But shades of her immortal presence

In her shadows and innocence

All final rituals and ceremonies were carried on

as her last wish was demanded off

She lies silent in red

Ah! How heart rendering without bed

They carried her on their shoulders

In a palanquin of the last journey of this mortal.

How sad that in life time

She never took a rash ride

Today was given away to pious fire

To connect the wire

of the mortals to the ultimate empire.

Yes, He makes us feel His being

In the vicious circle of death and life in reel.

Sangeeta Chaudhary

Life and death are mediums of God to make us feel His ultimate powers as omnipresent,Omniscient and unconquerable.

The best way to express pain is through words, whether they are written or said. Good Job!
