Death Mark
23 Oct 2011
It was such a small spot
Nothing to worry about
So he folded the towel
It was ok, he had no doubt
His hand went across that spot
Folded, he put it away
He never thought of it again
He quietly worked his day
He shook a hand before he left
He helped a child that had fallen
At the store he more people
When home his children did kiss them
That night he loved his wife
Next day he took kids to the park
And his wife went shopping
They spread the death mark
People met people
People went traveling
Each day the mark passed on
A week before the first was coughing
Death was slow
Death was terrible
Life was rotting
Everything was awful
