For a woman who lost her youngest son to an unknown illness. Nathan was a fine boy on his way to becoming a wonderful man, but the most important thing to him was his relationship with Jesus.

As I think of the love Nathan had for our lord; I cannot help but wonder what the Lord has in store,
for such a sweet boy, who devoted so much. With all that he went through, never doubting God’s love.
Rewards like we‘ve never see in this world, never troubled with sorrow, or worldly concerns.
All the sickness and heartache he felt are no more, just smiles and giggles, as he walks with the Lord.
Though I will not pretend to know, how you’re feeling inside,
I may only empathize by thinking, “if that child were mine.”
There are no words to say to help ease your pain, but with your loss, now I see the importance of today.
And I’ll thank God each day my children are here with me, and make more of an effort to spend time with family.
I will not dwell on the small stuff, or get mad and walk away,
But rather stay and talk it out, till our hearts are both okay,
For Nathan showed me painfully, to live and love today, Cause we know not what tomorrow brings, a chance best not to take!
