Continued from part 1…..

None of these recent supernovae have happened near

enough to earth to have caused such a significant effect

in spite of there brightness. But statistically it is probable

that at least one supernova will within 100 light years

away from us every 50 million years- and as close at

this, its force would be enough to disrupt our protective

upper atmosphere, shower the earth with cosmic rays,

and bring about a marked and prolonged

drop in temperature.

Exactly this seems to have happened at the death

of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs and large flowering plants,

highly evolved and vulnerable because of there size,

would be initially devastated by radiation.

WILL WE EVER KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT DINOSAURS? WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENED TO THEM??????? LEAVE A COMMENT X THANKS ALL FOR READING THIS PIECE.
