A poem.
I can’t believe what I did.
Sitting here, learning against the davenport, my legs spread out before me.
My hand clutches my chest,
I’m finding it hard to breathe.
I can’t believe what I did.
My vision blurs and my heart beats faster;
wild and out of control.
I can’t believe what I did,
and I don’t want to die.
