A poem I wrote for a challenge.

I love watching flakes fall,

land and cover the ground.

I watch them start to drift,

then form into a huge mound.

I love the pure whiteness,

of a fresh new snowfall.

It’s fun playing outdoors,

and tossing a big snowball.

I love building a snowman,

on a bitterly cold Winter day.

When the snow packs firmly,

in place it will surely stay.

These are delights of snow,

exciting things we can do.

It’s much fun being outside,

enjoying the snow with you.

I don’t feel right if I have a winter without seeing snow.

I have only seen snow once in my whole life and that was about a month ago for some reason I just don’t think it’s meant to be! Thanks for the great Darla! I enjoyed the read!

It made me feel how wonderful snow is because here in the tropics we never had that. Thanks for the wonderful poem :)

    The snow outside my window
Will send you all a chill
    Its upto my window sill
Yet its falling I want you to know
Playing in the snow is fun
One loves to warm up after the snow.

    You and your boy friend
Or maybe girl friend and you
Can come along and play in the snow too.

Behind our house there is a big park
The blades of grass has been replaced
    By white bed sheet
The snow glistens as the sun peeps in
You are welcome to come in

Enjoy the snow before it starts melting then it will be so cold
You will need a thorough house warming and perhaps a tot of brandy too
    Then you will never know
    In whose arms
And with whom are you two.
