God’s child.

There comes a time in all of our lives where we have to start thinking smarter
I was told as a man to stand bold with my arms folded if I wanna earn some respect
and truth be told I rather sale my sour to the dude below before I allow disrespected
heart grew cold
as the years grow
heavier with the drinking
life happening so fast didn’t know if I could last
or what would stop me from sinking to the bottom
Turn the mirror on yourself
and started looking harder
now I know what I need and my time getting shorter
its been awhile
but I know how to pray
but I have to pray harder
I need him
to have mercy on me — save my soul from the boiler
put the truth within me and use me
what are your orders
cover me in the bold of protection
dress me with your armor
I’m a soldier for the gods
just give me the order
I’ll walk from the east to the west
never forgetting every blessing I’m given
lead me
when the world is falling apart
but the strength in my heart
give me light in the dark
light the fire with the spark
to remove shadows of doubt
put the words in my mouth
make me whole, honest and true.
