Ever had to leave? Really fast? I mean: faster than a speeding …?

I was leaving a girlfriend named Emily
when she sent me a telefacsimile:
          “At your point of departure,
          I’m sending an archer
for calling me crazy in simile.”

    Thanks guys!

To payge, Mrs.Heart, and Inna … I kept wondering what you meant by “behind a smile”, until I realized that’s probably what you thought I wrote. The word is not smile, it’s simile — a comparison using like or as.
