Falling apart and getting close to rock bottom.

It’s like I’m a derailing train,
And I am coming apart at the seams
I hear things that people don’t say
And I am constantly seeing things

The thread of sanity continues to unravel
One tiny piece at a time
Shredding any spark of hope
Taking all that is mine

Some rest would be welcomed,
For I have been sleeping less and less
I try to hide everything,
But I still fall short when I try my best

I close my eyes and try to stay calm
Thinking when I open them again things will have changed
Once again they haven’t
No, they never do

I’m new to your poetry, but share some of your struggles. You express them much more beautifully than I ever can, but just know you are not alone. I find writing such a good way to help climb out of the abyss at times. May I please add you as a friend?
