Another poem.
The blistened deset earth
Glistens as it plucks
Defenseless blood from peace
Smiles as death unwinds
Its dark justice prevails
Strips life from natures womb
War plagues scarred, black cities
Defiles once fearless dreams
Triumphant monuments now scorched with pain
Destruction of last hope
The open hands of trust betrayed
The final tower cascades to the ground
With one last blazing sunset
The fiery star falls forever
Desolate winter embraces the ravaged planet
Motionless now, it silently lingers
Iced…forgotten
