Seeking love can be such a bitch.

Image via Wikipedia

Silkened are the stranded threads of yearning,

Flowered to blossom from the fire burning.

Deep are the roots seated firm and steady,

Passions have been steeped till they’re ready.

Longs desire comes to be granted and known,

The fruits of rapture’s labor about to be sown.

I have know love and lust, as day follows night.

Found myself drowning as nothing turned out right.

Compromised and epitomized, idolized and brutalized,

Till in the end lonliness was all I realized.

Why then do I continue to search hoping to find,

The one who can satisfy both my body and my mind.

Am I testing myself, seeing if I know what i need,

And if I find it will I be able to nurture the seed.

Have i what it takes to share and build with someone,

Or am I just a lonely heart destined for the run.

It is well written but seems too dedicated to settle for loneliness.
It is beneficial to turn your thoughts toward pondering more on the good things in life.
