Normal everyday stress can mound up, bringing with it a heavy load of sadness.
Dark clouds hover over-head, their purpose to spoil my day,
Gray shadows form forboding, that all joy will be swept away.
Persistently they try to shade, over beauty that could ever be,
Put blinders on eyes of this one beneath, to create insecurity.
My mind then ponders over, all the blessings of past gone by,
As clouds begin to dissipate, beams of sunshine flood the sky.
I know that our Creator is much greater than what I can see,
When doubts and fear start raging, God pours His love on me.
