Emotions dealt with all my life.
Did I ever tell you?
That I’m not all that weird,
I am like you, that mailman over there,
My neighbors and your neighbors,
And we both share the same light of the moon, the sun,
See a similar view of the moon, and fear the sun.
Did I ever tell you?
That when you’re dreaming, and when that filth runs up your mind,
Like junk shooting stars, up the veins,
I’ll guard your fragile soul to keep your smile, keep you smiling,
Or in the end, I find myself dusting up shattered glass.
And if you can’t breathe, I’ll breathe for you,
Give you my last breath, until I last,
And I’ll give you my life to take your life away.
Did I ever tell you?
That I’m willing to sacrifice good memories for the worse,
Stumble down the road with you,
On the road,
We’ll stumble into Petey Dorns’ bathroom together,
Heck, maybe even share the same toilet bowl,
When you and I are sick,
Yes, we can share the same toilet bowl together.
I heard a whisper telling me to do bad things,
There are only good things and bad things and good things happen to good people,
And you say I’m a very bad person, so there’s no point in me doing good things,
And bad things are the only choices there are and you will forgive me.
Right?
Did I ever tell you?
How I never told you what kind of a person you are and how much you disappoint me,
When I say for you to die this night,
You may ask if I mean it when you know I don’t and you don’t either.
And did I ever tell you that I need you to go away,
Run without me, or take me away?
I don’t think so.
