We came together from different worlds

Two very different mindsets

It was hard at first to merge our lives

We had different agenda

Your love of this world and worldly things

I enjoyed the spiritual side

It was difficult to see eye to eye

With different agenda on our minds

Our ability to resolve conflict

Our love of peace and  mind

Will help remove our different agenda over time

As we get together we will learn to combine

To strengthen each other weakness

While we tackle current problems

Our different agenda will not be a barrier

But whether a step ladder

As we climb to the top

And see the road before us

We will throw aside

Those different agendas that hold us from behind
