This is a little poem I wrote recently while at a concert with my boyfriend and he decided to propose to me. Who would have thought he had such a day in store for me.
Sitting here I have the biggest grin on my face
I do not wish to be anywhere but this place
The beats of music and sounds of people in the background disappear
as you bent your knees and knelt to the ground
You look at me and talk of life
You hand me your heart, let me know from this moment on
No one can tear us apart
You seemed embarrassed
I laugh, Baby of course I wanna be your wife
He lets me examine the ring
I love its beauty
I think of my future life
Everything is coming together
With that the band begins to sing again
