A cultured mind is slow to take UN-necessary advantages

From the hands of someone else

While an earthy mind requires an expense of assets on its behalf

Before it will accept that a flag flies at full

And not at half staff

Or  is sincere beyond a cheerful hand shake and a friendly laugh

A cultured mind believes in and seeks to achieve independence

While an earthy mind seeks an inter-dependance

There is no compromise between these minds

One must either accept them as they are or leave them behind

There is no mediation between such minds

One requires ethical relations

And the other requires continuous inter-related compensation

Before either can come to recognize

The sincerity expressed by others lives

Black or white, there is no grey

That abides between the unique needs of those minds

Each operates by its own Constitution

And each truly believes that any other approach

Is a false step

Which will encroach upon good sense
