The way I got to where I’m at’s by getting through that which I’m from

And although I remain the same, in ways much different I’ve become

For life can either twist and warp, or given chance, can shape and mold

True gain comes not from that been given, but that been done with what you hold

We’re given no choice in our lessons of for what they are about

The sole minute bit of control remains in whole what’s taken out

Always keep an open mind- maintain that attitude is key

So good results from everything, if that is how you choose to see

Otherwise, it’s just a waste, to unnecessarily become upset

Pointlessly squandering energy and time snowballs to continue on adding regret

Stay moving ahead, therefore never allowing this vicious type cycle to ever prevail

It’s fact we all fall, but not getting back up is the only true time that we ever can fail

Do not let yourself down, instead lift yourself up- and soon you’ll have enabled yourself to fly

Fight against giving in for progress to be made- you can always move forward as long as you try

With combined strength and will, you shall not be stuck long- when you find a direction in which you can grow

To be happy inside where no other can touch- making you then invincible from that which you know
