This tragic poem talks about the feeling of everything is lost because the ones we think were our salvators have forgotten what they should do.
Disgrace
He breaks, He falls
There’s no way to get out
The man that was yesterday
The light of hope
Has lost it all
Some years ago
And he’s nothing now
The obsession for his life, his land and his parents. All of them have gone.
What happened to you? Now I see
You’re not the dreamer. He’s death
Why did you let go your dreams?
You sell yourself and now you’re a shadow of the man you were.
You fall in disgrace
And now you don’t remember it anymore, you don’t wish anything at all.
From your idealistic days where you love
Now you make part of the mistake
You give up, you have changed
The eyes of my mother are crying
Because they continue suffering the pain
And the ones she love
Don’t care for her.
She cries, insulted, because she knows, there is nothing she can make
If they just fall in disgrace
Those that has received it all, should not forget her.
The dreams are over with a selfish word.
A shared incrimination, our disgrace
In loneliness dies our little success
When there’s nobody that makes them grow up.
Where do we go? We deserve this
Why to protest
If we live in disgrace
And with compliance, a condemnation we just accept
