Poem.

“Dive and resurface,” the Yellowfin said;

Sing us a tune about waving, indeed,

Drowning was not on the menu I read.

Dance into tins; onto slices of bread;

Schooled, but not fooled into sating men’s greed.

“Dive and resurface,” the Yellowfin said;

Deliver yourselves to the angler ahead;

Sacrificed-selves make the tastiest feed.

Drowning was not on the menu I read.

‘Dish of the Day’ sees that all men are fed.

Somewhere a lean ‘Major Cow’ agreed!

“Dive and resurface,” the Yellowfin said;

Dress-up your flanks, lose your heads and be bled,

Saute your flesh; searing staunches the bleed.

Drowning was not on the menu I read.

Show time! – To ‘Milliways’ served on a bed

Of kelp or souped up with cardamom seed

“Dive and resurface,” the Yellowfin said;

Drowning was not on the menu I read.
